Custom Photographic Prints:
The custom photographic prints we provide are of incredible quality. The photograph is made using fine optical cameras, primarily Wista SP4x5 Field camera and lenses and the Pentax 6x7 medium format system. The film exposed in both cases is professional transparency or slide film.

The next step is working very closely with the incredible professionals at my lab in Boulder Colorado, Photo Craft Labs, Inc. The images are scanned digitally using an Aztec drum scanner and "output" on Fuji Crystal Archive photographic paper with the famous Cymbolic Sciences LightJet 5900 printer. The printer works by imaging the digital file to photographic paper using red, green, and blue lasers. We have made hundreds of "cibachromes" in the past and find the LightJet prints to be superior in many ways including rendition of highlight and shadow detail, color saturation, sharpness and longevity. The combination of using fine-grained films and the Fuji Crystal Archive paper produces a print that brings to life the scene as viewed in the field. Also, the use of strict color management practices allows consistency between prints and editions that is not obtainable using traditional optical practices.

Expect these prints to last a lifetime. There will be no fading in the coloration of prints made in this manner for 50 to 75 years or more. Please don’t test this statement by hanging them in direct sunlight for any length of time. Nothing stands up in direct sunlight. (except the Painted Hills).

You’ll be pleased with the quality of the custom print we send you and say that with confidence. However, if you are dissatisfied for any reason we will have you return the print for a full refund, no questions asked.

Shipping and Handling:
The shipping and handling charge is $25 for the continental U.S., if applicable.

Payment:
50% of the cost of the print needs to be sent to us before we can create a print for you. Please mail a check with half of the total of the prints cost to the address below. We will turn your print around in two weeks from when we receive your first payment. Thanks!
